The getradiometerdata script is executed by the delene user cron nightly at 12:30 a.m. on Stratus to fetch microwave radiometer and surface radiation data. The microwave radiometer data is saved in the shared folder c:/GR_DATA/Microwave/WVR1129/ on the GlacialRidge2 field site computer. New microwave data files are stored in the /data3/MicrowaveRadiometer/ directory on stratus.atmos.und.edu. The getradiometerdata script is located in /export/home/delene/bin/getradiometerdata and is executed nightly under the “delene” user crontab. Results from running this script by the cron are appended to the log file /data3/MicrowaveRadiometer/crontab.out. ~
