Copying and Viewing Aircraft Flight-Track KML data files on Google Earth

* First, you need to download Google Earth onto your local machine. LINK = https://www.google.com/earth/versions/, or you can view Google Earth from your web browser.

* Next, you must copy over the KML files. (In this example, our KML files are located on the UND Aircraft server.

scp -r user.name@aircraft.atmos.und.edu:/nas/und/Florida/2019/Aircraft/CitationII_N555DS/FlightData/20190725_175413/PostProcessing/*kml .

* Now, open Google Earth on your local machine or web browser. Go to File→Open, and open your KML file.

* Google Earth should automatically insert this file as a placefile and will zoom into the area of interest.

* Finally, you can customize the image to your liking and then save the image by selecting the icon on the tool bar at the top of the Google Earth Application.
