Clifford Hall 422 (CH422) is primary usage for undergraduate student research. Below is a list of CH422 computers.

Below is a map of CH422 with the locations of the different computers. Note the door in the bottom left corner for orientation.
The names of computers and their operating systems are found below the map.

How to use the projector

1. Turn the key on the wall, next to white board, to deploy the screen from the ceiling.

2. Retrieve the remote control from the drawer next to the exit door.

3. Press the “on” button on the remote (upper right, green)

  You will see "startup" information displayed on the screen, including instructions for connecting, and an IP Address.

4. Login to any PC Windows computer.

5. Search for a Program called “WPC”. Create a desktop shortcut if desired.

6. Start WPC.

 a. Type in the login password information (taped to the remote control) into the WPC GUI.
 b. Type in the "projector ID" which should be showing on the top left corner of the screen.
 c. The screen you see on your PC should now be displaying on the projection screen.

7. When you are done

 a. logout of the Windows computer. 
 b. return the remote control to the drawer
 c. turn the wall key to return the screen to the ceiling.

Note that Dr. Delene says this should also work with laptops (both Mac and PC) after downloading the WPC software.
