====== Remote Desktop Connection ====== ===== Using the Aerospace network ===== On the Start menu, search for "//Remote Desktop Connection//" using the search bar and click to run it. Enter either the IP address (CH422 computers listed at bottom of page) or the computer name (example below) of the computer in need of remote access in the //Computer// box and click 'Connect'. computer_name.aerospace.local Enter username (as //'AD\username'//, usually as //'AD\firstname.lastname'//) and password into the box and click 'OK'. To end connection and log off the remotely-accessed computer, click the //Log off// button in the Start menu. ===== Using CampusVPN ===== While connected to the campus VPN (instructions found [[atmos:citation:soft:vpn|here]]), go to the Start menu and search for "//Remote Desktop Connection//" using the search bar and click to run it. Enter the IP address of the computer in need of remote access (CH422 computers listed at bottom of page) in the //Computer// box and click 'Connect'. Enter your Aerospace username and password with **//aerospace//\** before the username and click 'OK'. AD\username Click 'Yes' to connect anyway despite certificate errors. If you get the following erro Failed to initialize NLA, do you have correct Kerberos TGT initialized ? Failed to connect, CredSSP required by server (check if server has disabled old TLS versions, if yes use -V option).
