The Applanix Position and Orientation System (POS) uses a NovAtel GPS Antenna that uses the L1 and L2 frequency.  You can split the GPS antenna signal if you use a splitter that has a DC blocker on one of the receivers.  The [[http://www.rfglobalnet.com/product.mvc/GPS-Active-Antenna-Splitter-1X4-0001|ALDCBS1X4 GPS Amplified Splitter]] has a DC blocker and should work to for the Applanix (POS) system.

The Time Sync Generator uses a active antenna with 5 VDC power provided via antenna cable.  Gain: 26 db +/- 2 db.
